Today was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the DF torta and horchata and they were really good. The place was well kept. Little outdoor area as well. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely return to try other food options.

I hesitate to post this because taqueria DF is my best kept secret!!!! This place is a Wilcrest GEM and hands down my favorite taqueria on the Westside. I order the Hurache con carne with Suadero meat every time I go and each time it tastes the same - absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of beans, meat, cheese and ... garnishes. The kind of place you want to shout about but you don't want to tell anyone about because it's a low-key spot but oh my goodness, what a place. From the tortillas to the bolillo bread for the tortas it just hits perfect; literal 10/10 no notes. (Just forget I mentioned it, ok?)

I found this wonderful hidden little place through Yelp. The reviews there were good so I figured why not try it. It was right down the street from work. The atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. Service was quick and pleasant, the food came out hot and fast, and the prices were evenly matched with fast food ... restaurants without the fast food feel. I got a few fajita tacos and the meat flavoring was on point it did not let me down. The fajita meat cut was good and it wasn’t diced up into little pieces like some places do the seasoning was great, the salsa was fire, and the tortillas weren’t overly greasy. This is my favorite taco place in this side of town. These feels like a mom-pop restaurant and the food is always great. I just love all of their tacos and their taco green sauce. The price is great and the portions are generous. Their staff is awesome.

I ordered 1- beef torta, and 5 tacos. 2 Suadero, 2 barbach, 1 fajita. 2 dime bags of salsa verde. I've been going here for a year.. it's down wilcrest from a taco chain- and it's WAY better.
